Born in 1920 in Trento, Italy, Chiara Lubich experienced a profound spiritual calling during World War II and founded the Focolare Movement in 1943. The movement emphasized universal brotherhood, ecumenical dialogue, and social cohesion. Under Lubich’s guidance, Focolare expanded to over 180 countries, encompassing diverse religious, cultural, and social backgrounds. She received numerous international honors for her work in peacebuilding and interfaith understanding. Chiara Lubich died in 2008, leaving a global community committed to her vision of unity.
