Bhakti Hridaya Bon was born in 1901 in Serampore, India, and became a devoted follower of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. He served as a disciple of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura and helped spread devotional teachings through his writings. In 1941, he founded the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, creating a center for spiritual education and community worship. Bon authored commentaries on classic texts such as the Srimad-Bhagavatam and Srimad-Bhagavata-Dharma. His work bridged traditional devotional insights with contemporary scholarship. He traveled internationally to lecture and guide practitioners until his death in 1982.
