On April 3, 1905, a group of Italian immigrant youths in the La Boca neighborhood of Buenos Aires established Club Atlético Boca Juniors. The club would grow to become one of the most successful and popular football teams in Argentina and the world. Known for its blue and gold colors and passionate fan base called ‘La Doce,’ Boca Juniors secured numerous national and international titles, including multiple Copa Libertadores victories. Their historic rivalry with River Plate, the ‘Superclásico,’ is among football’s fiercest derbies. Over the decades, Boca has nurtured legendary players and become a symbol of Argentine football culture and immigrant community pride.
