On May 7, 1986, Canadian mountaineer Patrick Morrow became the first person to summit the Seven Summits, the highest peak on each continent.
Patrick Morrow completed his Seven Summits quest on May 7, 1986, by reaching the summit of Mount Everest. He had previously conquered Kilimanjaro, Mount Elbrus, Denali, Aconcagua, Vinson Massif, and Puncak Jaya, tackling diverse and challenging terrains.
