Leslie Howard was born in Forest Hill, London and became one of the most respected figures in British cinema. He gained international acclaim for his portrayal of Ashley Wilkes in 'Gone with the Wind' (1939). Howard also starred in and produced 'The Scarlet Pimpernel' (1934), showcasing his versatility as both actor and filmmaker. During World War II, he worked with the British Ministry of Information to produce propaganda films. He tragically died in 1943 when the civilian aircraft he was traveling in was shot down over the Bay of Biscay.

Richard Greene was born in Plymouth in 1918 and trained at RADA before launching his film career. He achieved fame for his role as Robin Hood in the popular 1955 TV series The Adventures of Robin Hood. During World War II, Greene served with the Royal Air Force and flew combat missions over Europe. He appeared in major films such as The Hound of the Baskervilles and The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men. Greene's blend of swashbuckling charm and dignified presence made him a household name on screen. He continued acting in theater and television until his sudden death in 1985.
