He expanded into television, radio, and publishing under the Ramoji Group, establishing a media empire that includes Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, recognized by Guinness World Records. His establishment of this studio complex revolutionized Indian cinema production. Beyond media, Rao invested in education and healthcare initiatives, reflecting his commitment to social development. He passed away in 2024, leaving a legacy as a visionary in India’s media landscape.
