To defend the community, he organized the Sikh martial forces and fortified the Akal Takht in Amritsar. He led several military engagements against Mughal forces to protect Sikh rights and autonomy. Guru Hargobind’s leadership transformed Sikhism, emphasizing both spiritual values and self-defense.
