Born in 1913, Kazimierz Sabbat moved to the United Kingdom following World War II and built a successful business career. In 1986, Sabbat was elected Prime Minister of the Polish government-in-exile, and two years later he assumed the office of President. During his tenure, he worked tirelessly to maintain the legitimacy of the non-communist Polish state and preserve national traditions. Sabbat organized conferences and published documents outlining Poland's free-state claims. He passed away in London in 1989, shortly before the collapse of communism in his homeland, and is remembered for his dedication to Polish sovereignty.
