Alessandro Gogna (born July 29, 1946) is an Italian alpinist celebrated for his first winter ascents in the Alps and Himalayas. He co-founded the Gruppo Ragni della Grignetta and has authored numerous books and articles on mountaineering. Gogna's explorations include new routes on peaks such as Cerro Torre and Gasherbrum IV. An advocate for environmental conservation, he has promoted sustainable climbing practices. His work has inspired a generation of climbers and helped shape modern alpinism.

Denis Urubko is a Kazakhstani high-altitude mountaineer renowned for his bold ascents without supplemental oxygen. He has summited all fourteen of the world's eight-thousand-meter peaks, often pioneering new routes and winter climbs.
