Richard J. Corman (1955-2013) was an American businessman and railroad visionary who established the R.J. Corman Railroad Group. Starting with a small track construction crew, he expanded the company into a diversified enterprise offering emergency response, maintenance, and logistics. Under his leadership, R.J. Corman became one of the largest privately held railroad services firms in the United States. Corman was admired for his hands-on management style, attention to safety, and commitment to customer service. Beyond business, he supported community initiatives and educational programs in rural areas.

Yevgeny Prigozhin was born in 1961 and built his fortune in the catering industry with the Concord company. He earned the nickname Putin's Chef after supplying catering services to the Kremlin and Russian military. In 2014, Prigozhin was linked to the founding of the Wagner Group, a private military company active in Ukraine and Syria. He used his financial network to fund Wagner's operations, establishing himself as a key figure behind Russia's overseas military activities. Prigozhin also faced multiple Western sanctions for his role in military and political interference. In June 2023, he led a short-lived armed rebellion in Russia, showing his willingness to challenge the military establishment. He died in a plane crash on August 23, 2023, an event that sparked numerous investigations and speculations.
