Pavel Vinogradov is a Russian engineer and cosmonaut who has completed three long-duration missions aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Born in 1953, he graduated as a mechanical engineer and was selected as a cosmonaut in 1989. Vinogradov first visited the ISS as a flight engineer on Expedition 13, and later commanded Expedition 31. Over his career, he accumulated over 566 days in space and conducted six spacewalks. Known for his technical expertise and leadership, he supervised scientific experiments and station maintenance tasks. He has also served in training new cosmonauts at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. His career highlights include setting a Russian record for cumulative time in space upon his retirement.
