Cyrus Mistry was an Indian-Irish business magnate born in 1968 into the Shapoorji Pallonji family. He earned degrees from Imperial College London and London Business School before joining his family's conglomerate. In 2012, he became the sixth chairman of Tata Sons, leading the Tata Group through major acquisitions and modernization efforts. His tenure sparked both global expansion and high-profile governance disputes, culminating in his removal in 2016. Mistry continued to serve on international advisory boards and pursue philanthropic activities until his tragic death in 2022.
