Henry Samueli earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering at UCLA, where his early research laid the groundwork for high-speed networking chips. In 1991, he co-founded Broadcom Corporation, serving as Chief Technical Officer and guiding it to global leadership in semiconductor solutions. The company's innovations under his tenure revolutionized broadband and wireless communications, contributing to the rise of mobile and internet technologies. After Broadcom's acquisition in 2016, Samueli turned his focus to philanthropy, supporting STEM education, healthcare, and youth athletic programs in Orange County. He remains an influential figure in technology and education through board memberships and charitable foundations.
