His philanthropic vision led to the creation of the Milton Hershey School for disadvantaged children, ensuring his legacy extended far beyond confectionery until his death in 1945.

Dmitry Nikolayevich Filippov was a Russian entrepreneur and political figure during the 1990s. He began his career in the business sector and emerged as a leading entrepreneur in post-Soviet Russia. He founded and managed several companies focused on trade and finance. Filippov later entered politics, serving in regional government roles. John Bradfield was an English biologist and entrepreneur who founded the Cambridge Science Park, one of the United Kingdom's first technology parks.
