World Students' Day
World Students' Day is an international observance celebrating students and their achievements worldwide, held on A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's birthday.
Established by the United Nations in 2003, World Students' Day honors the contributions and aspirations of students around the globe. The date coincides with the birthday of India's former President and renowned educator Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Educational institutions, NGOs, and governments organize seminars, scholarship programs, and discussions focusing on student leadership, innovation, and global citizenship. The day promotes awareness of challenges faced by students, including access to education and mental health support. Youth-led initiatives and volunteer projects also mark the occasion, inspiring future generations to pursue learning and positive social change.
