The Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, the largest religious building in Georgia, is consecrated.

The Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, Georgia's largest church, is officially consecrated after over a decade of construction.
Construction of the Holy Trinity Cathedral began in 1995 to commemorate Georgia's spiritual revival. Designed by architect Irakli Mindiashvili, it blends traditional Georgian and Byzantine styles. The cathedral's grand dome rises to 87 meters, making it a landmark in Tbilisi. It can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers and features intricate mosaics and frescoes. Its consecration on November 23, 2004, marked the culmination of nearly a decade of work. The cathedral has since become a symbol of national identity and religious heritage in Georgia.
