Ii Naosuke (1794–1850) was a Japanese feudal lord who governed Hikone Domain during the late Edo period. He succeeded his father as the 14th daimyo and implemented administrative reforms to strengthen his domain’s finances. A patron of scholarship and the arts, he founded schools and supported local craftsmen. Under his leadership, Hikone enjoyed a period of peace and cultural growth. After retiring in 1832, he left a legacy of modernization in his region.

Tokuo Nanjo (1895–1974) was a Japanese lawyer-turned-statesman during the early Shōwa period. After graduating from law school, he practiced as a defense attorney, gaining a reputation for integrity and advocacy. Entering politics, Nanjo was elected to the national Diet, where he focused on legal reform and social welfare issues. He served in various party leadership roles and contributed to post-war legal revisions. Nanjo’s balancing of legal expertise and public service left a lasting impact on Japan’s modernization and democratic governance.

ヌオン・チアは1926年に生まれ、カンプチア共産党の上級幹部として活動した。 「ブラザー・ナンバー・ツー」としてポル・ポトと共に革命運動を指導した。 1975年から1979年までのクメール・ルージュ政権下で大虐殺政策を推進した一人とされる。 政権崩壊後は指導的立場で裁判にかけられ、有罪判決を受けた。 2019年に死去し、その政治的責任は今も議論を呼んでいる。

1947年7月7日生まれ。 2001年に第11代ネパール国王として即位。 政治的混乱と王族虐殺事件の影響を受け、国王として難局に直面。 2008年の王政廃止に伴い退位し、王制は終焉。 現在は主に国外で生活している。

1952年、山口県で生まれる。 慶應義塾大学経済学部を卒業後、政界入り。 1986年の衆議院選挙で初当選を果たし、自民党所属の議員として活動。 2005年から2006年にかけて農林水産大臣を務め、農業政策の改革に取り組んだ。 現在も国会議員として地方農業や環境問題の改善に尽力している。

1958年、日本で生まれる。 高校時代から空手を始め、極真会館に所属し国内の大会で優勝を重ねる。 現役引退後は政治家に転身し、地方議会議員として教育や青少年育成に力を注いだ。 武道精神を政治理念に取り入れ、地域振興にも貢献した。 2003年に死去した。
